Hi all,

I run Windows 2000. As of a couple of days ago, I can no
longer open my parameters in windows. Doing so gives me
the message "explorer.exe has generated an error and will
be closed" (I'm translating from French, in English it
might not be the same). This means that I can't access
anything in there to adjust my video card, or whatever. I
can access directly system and network parameters by going
to them on the desktop.

There are really only two things that have happened that
might explain this. First, I was attacked by a lot of
little viruses that I cleaned with McAffee by deleting the
files, most of which had to do with internet explorer. It
may be that one of them was a file necessary to open
parameters. Also, I installed Plaxo and Spamnet, although
I don't think it's because of that.

Any ideas? Some help would be greatly appreciated.
