- Posted by Tedrowe Bonner on December 5th, 2003
Hi:
I just installed Roxio Easy CD & DVD creator v 6.2, and
the computer no longer shuts down. It reboots. Thanks for
any help with this problem - Ted

I have same problem. Paid $35 and called Roxio. They
were supposed to send a link (yesterday) to Roxio zap to
remove what's left after install. Haven't received link.
Also looking for help. Thanks, Bill

I was tempted to post the following when I first saw your message...
"There appear to be a number of compatibility issues if you try to use Adaptec
/ Roxio Easy CD software on Windows 2000. These can include inability to boot
the system and inability to shut down. I would recommend you do _not_ use
Easy CD on a W2K system."
I refrained, because it was originally written some 2 years ago about an
earlier version of Easy CD. You would have thought they'd have managed to
sort it out by now.
Nero seems to do a reasonable job, without the compatibility problems.
Usual disclaimers.
