- delay in logging
- Posted by Aysh on July 18th, 2003
Dear all,
I have a newly installed windows 2000 server running
windows 98 workstations. The logging process on the
workstations is very slow, after inserting the logging
name and password, it takes about 1 minute before windows
is loaded. The same problem sometimes occur while trying
to access shared directory of the win 2000 server.
Whenerver I click on the share drive of the server, it
takes about 1 minute before the directories of this share
drive is loaded. Sometimes I might even think that the
window is frozen
Any help will be much appreciated
