- Deleting all files and folders in Content.IE5
- Posted by Dan on January 9th, 2004
I have adware/spyware on a PC at work, and am attempting
to delete everything in the Content.IE5 folder; however,
it tells me that certain things (which I believe are the
adware programs) cannot be deleted since they are in use.
Because of this, I'm getting a ton of pop-ups on the PC.
I've attempted to create a batch file that runs at startup
to delete * from Content.IE5, but with no luck. I've also
tried adding a line to Autoexec.bat to delete * from
Content.IE5, but have had no luck there, either.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Log on under a different account, then delete the stuff
in your profile folder that you want to get rid of.
