had W95 and W2K dual boot after W2K installed and somehow
delete W95 boot. How do I reconfigure back to 95 and W2K
dual boot?

Do this:
1. Boot the machine with a Win95 boot diskette.
2. Type this command:
sys c:
This will restore your Win95 boot capability.
3. Get a copy of bootpart.exe from
http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homep...t/bootpart.htm
4. Type this command:
bootpart win95 c:\win95.sys "Windows 95"
This will create a Win95 boot sector file. It will also include a
Windows 95 menu item in c:\boot.ini.
5. Type this command:
bootpart winnt boot:c:
This will restore the Win2000 boot process (which you destroyed
in step 2. above).
6. Pause and think for a moment how much longer you want to
persist with an obsolete, inferior and unsupported operating system.

thankyou, I just got your reply and will try tonight. If I can get the items (address book, etc off of win. 95 plus other files) then 95 is gone.
