Hi.
When I start my Windows 2000 Pro PC with SP4, the Netlogon
service does not start, even though the "Startup type" is
set to "automatic". Event Viewer logs the following error:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7024
Description: The Net Logon service terminated with service-
specific error 5737.

After the computer starts, I can manually start the
Netlogon service.

Help me, please.

Have a read of this article from Event ID (do a "Find on
this page" for 5737).

There are a number of MS KB articles mentioned which
should be read - most likely, SP4 has damaged a DLL, as
explained in the article.
