- event log stop diddn't show events logged

since the latest SP4 was applied then event log sometimes
doesn't show any events logged in.
Property is set to "replace event if necessary"
French W2K OS installed.
Do you have any information on this bug ?

Export events first then try clearing event log.

This is ecactly what I've done
but the problem come again after a while
I've tried o increase the size of the event log file
without sucess
I think it is a bug
I saw other messages on newsgroups concerning the same
problem
