I have a strange one. On one of my 2000 servers I open
eventvwr and it lists the entries in System as 750 or so.
I open one and it shows me the info. Then I click on
Application and it says there are 2,400 or so and they
don't appear. I then click back on System and it lists 0
entires and there are zero entries. I click on Security
and there are zero. I click on Application and there are
zero. I close eventvwr and then repopen it and I see the
entries in System. But when I click on Application I go
through the same process again.

Any ideas?
