- Folder permissions
- Posted by Joe on March 4th, 2004
Users desktop and my docs being redirected via GP folder redirection. We're moving users to new building and new home share. When user is subjected to new GP with folder redirection pointing them to a new server share their data is moved automatically which is great. Even though it worked in testing we would still like to get a file level copy of the my docs and desktop folders prior to the move. Problem is permissions. Unless we (admins) take ownership we are unable to copy these folders. Any ideas? We don't want to depend on our tape backup if some people's data gets lost.
Thanks
