- Help - Restoring System from a faulty boot disk
- Posted by Adrian Khoo on July 8th, 2003
OS: Windows 2000 Server
Background Info.
1. Primary disk is the boot disk
2. Secondary disk has the Windows system directory
What happened.
1. Primary disk died.
2. Secondary disk is still in tac.
How do I get the secondary disk to boot up?
I have tried replacing the primary disk, re-installing the OS onto it and
copying the secondary disk back on... but it will not work as it has issues
with the Directory Services.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Adrian
