- How do I remove W2000 in a dual boot W98SE/W2000 installation
- Posted by KIWI on September 6th, 2003
You can edit the boot.ini file directly to remove the Windows 2000 option or
you can do it in Control Panel > System on the advanced tab you'll see an
option to select the OS. Once you've changed it boot into Win98 just remove
the Win2k files....likely to be C:\WINNT by default.

I sure hope the files are not in C:\WinNT as that would imply both Win 98
and Win 2000 are using the same, e.g., Program Files directory on C.
Be very careful about removing an OS.
