I cannot Authorise the DHCP Server
Posted by subzero on August 6th, 2003

I have recently promote a Server to a Domain Controller
in a CHILD Domain and I cannot Authorise the DHCP Server.!!

I log on to the Server as an Administrator from the First
domain (parent) , I belong to the Universal
Administrators
Group and when I am trying to Authorize the DHCP I get
this message : <<The specified servers are already present
in the Directory Service>>

I know this and I am using this
command :netsh dhcp show server to verify this

The DHCP Server is still red and inactive.!I have removed
the Server from the Directory Service, I add it again and
the I still get the same message.!!!!

Can anyone help me ??? I have already tryed Microsoft`s
articles on the subject.....!!!

Have anyone seen this?????????????????Very freakish
event.!!
