Hello

When I reboot my computer (windows 2000 sp3) I get the following error message

"Error calling transport setup (20004)

I can close the dialog box and use the PC, except that IE will now not open. Both IE 5.5 and 6 are affected. Other browsers (Mozilla, Netscape) still work

I've searched on google groups, and apparently others have seen this problem, but no resolution was ever posted in any of the threads. The problem for many people posting happened after a service pack upgrade, or after an aborted installation of e.g. Adobe Acrobat. I had done neither when this problem started

I've also searched on the MS Knowledge Base, but I didn't find anything..
