I am trying to share files and printers between by Win 2000 Pro laptop and XP Home desktop. I have followed all the instructions but somehow I don't see the desktop on my laptop but I can see my laptopn on my desktop. Any clues why this might be happening?

Make sure that on the Desktop you have files shared and File and Printer
sharing is enabled on the Network adpater. If it is firewall enabled then
that could also cause it.

Yes I do have shared folders. The firewall in the router was turned on. I have turned it off but no luck...I don't even see the computer. Any other tips?
