- Javascript error affecting browser window but only for one user identity
- Posted by Dormouse on February 24th, 2004
I have several identities on my PC (Windows 2K) and recently when I have visited some websites under my main identity the pages do not display properly (this affects Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera etc). Symptoms are:
a.. You can see some of the HTML code at the top of the page
b.. Links/pop up windows don't work/open
This only happens at certain sites AND when I change my logon to a different user ID on the same computer there are no problems with these sites.
Has some spyware changed a setting for my main identity. If so, how do I change it back? I sweep my PC regularly for spyware. Help with this problem much appreciated.
Thanks
Dormouse
