I posted this about three weeks ago and so far have seen
no response so it seems a message that old is probable now
overlooked. Perhaps this issue is too obscure for anyone
to have the answer. Anyway here is my question:

Thanks for the reply. However, I tried the things that
you suggested but to no avail.

When I tried the first suggestion (double clicking on the
handle) nothing happened. When I try this action on 98
and XP verions the Programs toolbar kicks over to the far
right but I got no such response from the 2000 machine
that I am working on.

When I tried the second suggestion (right click taskbar-
faded so that I am not able to select them.

Sorry to present such a conundrum but do you have any
other suggestions? Thanks for your help. ~David
