Win 2000 accepts Admin password, acts like it will login
in then returns to window prompting for Ctrl-Alt-Delete
to enter username and password. Administrator is only
account. How do I get through this?

Generally two things will cause this. System\Everyone access to the C: has
been removed or the permissions to the Winnt\system32 directory are two
restrictive.

Usually the only way to resolve this is a parallel install and then modify
the permissions on the root and first install. then remove the second
install
