Login/Logoff Report
Posted by Steve on February 24th, 2004

I am trying to find out who is and who isnt logging out
of there PC's at night. We need to do some updates with
our AS/400 clients but it requires them to logoff and log
back in for the update to work. Is there some kind of
reporting that I can look at daily to see how many hours
or days a person has been logged into the network and or
there PC.

Hi

You could built your own logon/logoff tracking using logon/logoff scripts,

There are tools out there that can help you (with an agent installed on every
computer), I think the two products below should be able to give you the
information you want:

UserLock

Microsoft's solution:
You could install the CCONNECT Microsoft Resource Kit utility onto every
computer, it is in the Win2k Server Resource Kit, Supplement 1 (pay ware, and
you will need a SQL server database as well).
