I have an LSASS.EXE startup error on 2 Compaq Laptops
running on Windows 2000. If I cancel or OK the error the
system reboots.
I've tried reconfiguring the winsock service and tried
installing SP4 (I've found both solutions on the MS
Knowledge base), yet neither seem to be the permanent
solution (problem pops back up the day after). Other
hardware in the laptop is a Xircom Network card.

Does anyone know what's causing the error and how to
resolve it?
