- New device installation error
- Posted by bobc on March 7th, 2004
When installing a Logitech quick cam. The Logitech program
loaded all right. When Windows found the cam on the
restart the following error message occured. "An error
occured during the installation of the device. The data is
invalid." The camera will not work..I have used all of
Logitechs trouble shooting and to no avail. It appears to
be a windows problem.

Check Event Viewer and Device Manager for errors and or non-starting
devices.
