I am running a few microsoft products (MS office suite pro
2000, Corel Draw 7) on a new Dell laptop (Pentium IV;
windows 2000).

When I launch Word, everything is fine at first but after
a little while, the paste option stops working. I can
highlight some text and select Edit\Copy or ctrl-C, but if
I try to paste, nothing happens. The edit\Paste command
is disabled (greyed out).

This problem is also noticeable in Windows Explorer.
Although it works fine at first, after a little while I
can no longer click and drag documents.

Currently, the only remedy I have is to reboot the
computer.

Any advice is appreciated.
