My desktop background looks like a negative. When online the website pictures are all grainy and look like paintings. Can't figure what is wrong or how to reset back to factory setting.

When did the "view" change? I suspect you have corrupted or incorrect
video card drivers. Fix entails getting the proper ones from the
videocard manufacturers web site and installing them in accordance with
the setup instructions.
