- It is possible to add SQL server snap-in in MMC for workstation?
- Posted by CK on August 23rd, 2003
I got everythings except SQL Server 2000's snap-in, do I need to enable
somethings in server or unavailable at all? How about another way to
execute a SQL Enterprise Manager in workstation?
Thanks

Install the management tools from the SQL Server 2000 CD-Rom.

Insert a Microsoft® SQL ServerT 2000 compact disc in your CD-ROM drive. This
can be the installation disc for any edition of SQL Server 2000, without
regard to operating system support. If the compact disc does not autorun,
double-click Autorun.exe in the root directory of the compact disc.
Select SQL Server 2000 Components, select Install Database Server, and then
click Next at the Welcome screen of the SQL Server Installation Wizard.
It will prompt you that only Management Tools will be installed on a
workstation.
