- Profiles not retaining recent document or IE addresses, etc on SBS2000
- Posted by Blare Sutton on March 5th, 2004
I've got a client who runs a SBS2K network. Pretty standard setup, although
I have joined a few laptops to the domain and am faced with an intriguing
(and very annoying) problem. This is independant of whether a user profile
is configured.
User logs on, uses laptop, items are added to recent documents. Surfs net,
items are added to drop down address bar history, etc. User then logs off,
and logs back on again, no error messages, nothing in the event log, and the
recent items are gone, as is history in the address bar of IE. One user
reported that some of his documents were also missing, although I *think*
that may have just been an error on his behalf.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Blare
