pst files

I downloaded 115 emails to a disc and cannot get it open.
It is a .pst file. I tried to import from Microsoft
Outlook and it is saying I don't have permission to access
the file. Any ideas?

This is an Outlook issue, not a Windows 2000 issue. But try turning off the
read-only attribute. If that's not it, post to an Outlook group.

They may not have copied properly. Try running a
scanpst.exe on the pst file. See if it able to resolve
the corrupt issue.

If your pst is on a disk or CD, it will not work. Outlook must have full
access to the file. Copy the file to your hard drive, and then remove the
read only attribute from the file.
