why is it that when I delete certain files/items from my
desktop, then log-off of our domain, they reappear again
when I log back-on?...
we're running win2k sp3 on a domain.

Does it happen if you login as a local user? Does it happen for specific
user accounts or all user accounts? This could be a policy setting. Is the
only thing that's apparently wrong are the deleted items? Just making sure
its not using mandatory profiles ...
