- Security Patch will not install
- Posted by Greg Krawczyk on February 12th, 2004
This is the 2nd time posting this message.
I am running win2000sp3. When trying to install the latest security patch
which I downloaded this morning I get the following message:
Setup has detected that the version of the Service Pack installed on your
system is lower than what is necessary to apply this hotfix.
At minimum, you must have Service pack 2 installed.
Any ideas on why did is occurring? Believe me I have SP3 installed.
Thank You

You might try reapplying SP3 or installing SP4
