I disabled server and workstation services. Anyone know
how to start them back - they did not even appear in
services window of management console.

Look in Hklm\System\CCSet\Services for LanmanWorkstation and LanmanServer.
They are probably not there. Now go through the Controlset0x to see if you
can find them. If they are there the you can save them out and modify the
text file to point to ccset and import it. Otherwise copy the registry
setting from another machine.

1. Go to Programs, Administrative Tools
2. Select Computer Management
3. Double click Services and Applications
4. Click on Services
5. In the right window pane, right click Servers to start or restart this service
6. In the right window pane, right click Workstations to start or restart this service.
