- Sharing Violation when there should not be
- Posted by RichardWL on August 5th, 2003
I've been using Windows 2000 for 2 years with almost no
problems. Starting about 2 weeks ago, I've been having
trouble deleting or cutting a Folder if I have previously
cut files from that folder. I'm told there is a sharing
violation for the folder. There should not be. This is
true in network drives as well as my local drives.
The only change to the machine around the time of problem
inception was the installation of a program RJH Extensions
that is a right click menu utility.

The obvious first step is to uninstall the RjH Extensions and see if the
problem goes away.
