- static noise from speakers - driver?
- Posted by Jaz on January 8th, 2004
All of the sudden I'm getting a low static sound from my speakers. As
I move the mouse or graphics around the screen, or disk/network
access, I get this buzzing static from the speakers.
Sandra tells me I have Intel 82815 chipset, but doesn't give me much
info on soundcard devive. I installed the latest 815 drivers when I
installed Win2K 3 weeks ago. Mobo is Jetway 614 integrated mini-ITX.
Can anybody guess the best action before I start blindly reinstalling
drivers and possibly mucking up the system?
I once had a similar problem with my HP laptop, but the solution
involved the PCMCIA driver.
TIA
