STOP 0x00FEDCBA
Posted by Brad Rice on October 11th, 2003

I have a Windows 2000 Server with a 360 Gig D: volume. When the boot time chkdsk runs on it I get the STOP 0x00FEDCBA (0x000000000,0x000000000,0x00000000,0x00000000) message. If I by pass the boot time chkdsk and then once the machine is up and running I run chkdsk from a DOS window it works just fine.

???

Thanks
BRad

Is the server appliance kit installed on this machine? I see an older case
with this bugcheck where that was the root cause.
