Whenever I restart Windows 2000, I get an Program error
message saying svchost has generated errors and will be
closed by windows. What does this affect? How do I get
rid of it?

When I ran Norton Antivirus the other day, it found and
deleted the MS Blaster virus. I don't know if that
affected anything and left a residual problem.
