The error you are seeing is due to the Blast worm. Would
recommend getting instructions from the MS website on the
security patch and then instructions from your anti-virus
software site on removing the critter.

Rebuilding the system, even reformatting the hard drive
and reinstalling the O/S does not seems to not work.
