System Reboots
Posted by Dennise@paramountmortgageservices.com on October 30th, 2003

Windows 2000 Prof. workstation with a Windows 2000 server.
Workstation reboots everyday around 12:45 - 1:00 p.m. I
have check all programs on the pc. Run virus checks and
scans daily. Has Hotbar loaded. Does anyone have any ideas
as to the problem. 6 other machines work fine. This is the
only one that reboots.

- Place it into a different area for a few days to eliminate
a dodgy mains supply as a possible source.

- Turn it off overnight, then turn it on at 12:00, to determine
if this is a time-triggered problem or problem related to how
long the PC has been running (the CPU might overheat,
or you could have some up-time monitor that shuts the
machine down once every x hours).
