- TERMinal services client capacity
- Posted by jblaze on February 25th, 2004
I work for a medium-sized company and we are considering go to a thin
client environment running from a Windows 2000 server using Windows
terminal services. We would first like to test this new architecture
with about 16 thin client devices. My question is...
Will our existing server have the capacity to handle this sort of
processing.
The specs of this server are as follows:
1800 MHz Intel P4
1000 Mb ram
The apps running from the terminal services are UNIX based terminal
emulation running Windows CE and two of our thin client devices will
be XP embedded running OFFICE.
If anybody has any advice or guidelines for server capacity, please
resond.
Thank You
