- Total Processor time showing > 100 in counter log

windows 2000 Server, having hyperthreading CPU. 2 physical Processors.
I tried to save the performance counter logs on csv file. I am wondering the % Processor time total is showing beyond 100% . ProcessorTime Total saved as 300 ,400 in counter logs. It is showing perfectly on system monitor.How to get the correct counter in the Counter log ? Why its is showing 300 or 400 in the log

4 logical processors times 100% equals 400% on my calculator.
