Simple homie....the machine that you can't map to....( $150.00
answer)...enable netbios over tcp/ip in the network control panel. Your
machine can't ping to it because netbios is not binding the name of that
server to tcp/ip.
If you need my services, let me know... I've answered over half of the
questions in this newsgroup today...
