- Unable to load device driver, error code c000026c, atapi.sys

Hi, All
I am using Windows 2000 professional, laptop
It can not boot up this morning, it is always show me a blue screen:
STOP c000026c unable to Load Device Driver,
\%systemRoot%\System32\Drivers\Atapi.sys
....
oxc0000006
I didnot install any install software/hardware these days, I thought it
maybe files are crupt,
Kindly pls tell me how to recover it. I have so many files inside....
