My wife's computer has this message popping up all the
time. "Unable to open dialog". She has high-speed DSL
(roadrunner) the latest IE release and Norton Utilities
running. This error is preventing her from accessing the
website from which she works. I have looked all over the
MS website for a patch or other download that might
address this error, but have not found any that seem
to "fit". Does anyone know what this error is? Is it
related to that nasty little worm that is wreaking havoc?
Any help and/or response would be appreciated

I wish someone would answer your question. I am having the
same trouble. I did have the blaster worm but deleted it
successfully (acorting to Norton Antivirus), but the
system error (Unable to open dialog) still keeps popping
up. Also, during boot up, a skinny little window appears
on my desktop. I cant access it, and it's small, so I'm
not sure what's in it. I think it must have something to
do with this problem as well.
