Hi,
When I try to update a win 2000 computer through windows
updates, I get the following message and the updates fail:

"setup could not verify the integrity of the file
update.inf. Make sure the cyrptographic service is running
on this computer"

Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this. Thanks...

I don't know how to fix that but there is a newsgroup devoted entirely
to Windows Update and there must be some help there if you search the
archives on Google and, if you don't find anything in the archives,
post the question there.

Set your news reader to:
microsoft.public.windowsupdate
