- user profile file sizes
- Posted by eliz on November 11th, 2003
I am trying to free up space on my C drive and have
noticed that the user profile folders are fairly large,
one is 80mb, yet the subfolders have maybe 10mb total. Why
is the file so big? Where is the rest of it?
Thanks!

there's probably some hidden files and folders in there...
do you have "view hidden and system" options turned on in folder options?

90% of the Data in the User Profiles are in the Desktop and My Documents
folders, Check for hidden files and folders.
