Which of the following would show up in the "Processes"
tab of TaskManager.exe in win2000pro if they were running?:
viruses
worms
spywares
adwares
I'm trying to determine why my computer is sometimes at a
standstill (almost, but soooo slow) when I switch to other
applications after surfing on Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1.
After disconnecting from internet, speed goes back to
normal. Thanks in advance.

Get yourself copies of AVG and Spybot S&D.

This is a known, but unaddressed by MS
problem with IE6. I have it intermittently too.
Not so bad after rolling back to IE 5.5, but still there.
In my case, I have to reboot to clear it.
