- Win2000 boot failure - enable boot logging helps
- Posted by narthur on December 18th, 2003
Win2000 has recently begun to fail during bootup, unless I F8 and
enable boot logging. Then it boots normally.
On a failed boot, as the loading bar crosses the screen, it reaches
the same point, goes bluescreen for a flash, then back to
initialization memory test. No recent changes to system, altho the
boot log does show several drivers not loading. I'm not sure that
helps, however, since I only get a boot log of a successful boot.
Thanks for your suggestions! NA
