All of the fonts in the fonts folder in control panel have
disappeared. Most, but not all programs are affected. I
was able to copy all of the fonts from another computer
using the same operating system, but this was only a
temporary fix. When I reboot, the fonts disappear again.
So, I thought I would be able to live with the problem
without rebooting until I could figure out real problem.
That did not work either. Within 24 hours the fonts were
gone again without rebooting. Windows CD has a repair
option, but could not get anywhere trying to use it.

This problem started after I signed up for the internet
anti-virus system/program called stop sign. Program was
was able to clear my machine of virus', but after the
program had run a few times, and I had to reboot, fonts
were gone. They tell me it is not problem with their
software, but it is an operating system problem and that I
should contact Microsoft for a fix.

Anyone have any ideas as to how I can fix problem? -
