- Win2k SP4 + IIS running problems

After installing SP4 on a Win2K Pro machine - I am unable to open IIS Admin
or the World Wide Web Publishing service. I am unable to stop the services
because they are trying to start and when I try and run the SP4 Uninstall
option the program just hangs because it can't stop these processes either.
Any ideas on what caused this problem and how I can resolve it.

Hi,
i would try to repair the installation using the win 2000
cd and your erd(if you created one).

Thanks Frank - appreciate the help
I disabled the service - rebooted the PC and then uninstalled SP4 and
re-installed it again and that seemed to do the trick.

try this
uninstall SP4
check if the IIS run,
stop the IIS service
apply the SP4 again with the IIS service stopped
