- Windows 2K clock does not keep correct time

I can't get my Windows 2K clock to keep the correct time.
It keeps getting behind time. I know the fix in XP but
not 2K
Any thoughts.

You may have a dead battery. Get into the BIOS
setup process and leave the PC there for an hour.
If it loses time then it's definately a battery problem.
By the way, what's the fix for WinXP?

If it's not the battery, and/or if you just want the time corrected
once every day automatically, then you might choose to try a free
atomic clock synchronizer. A good one is available here:

Or if it's a networked machine taking clock synch from another machine,
set that other machine's clock.
