- Windows Explorer - 1 directory is very slow ???
- Posted by rabid on October 2nd, 2003
This ison a 100 gig partition of my boot drive
when I open one of my directories it very slow - 30 seconds - to
display the contents...This happens on none of the other 3 drives,
one of which is the same type - wd 120 8mb.
There isn't an over abundance of files in there but the contents do
change because its my newsgroup downloads directory..
have 768 ram, dual 2400+ cpu's and this is a clean install, sp3
any thoughts ?
thanks
