- windows explorer gone wacky

Hi. For weeks now at least, my Windows Explorer won't show any menus up
top. I don't know where they went or how to get them back. But it keeps me
from customising toolbars, working with folder views, and everything else
that only seems to be accessible from there.
Can someone help me? I am using Win2000 Pro SP4, and running Windows Update
hasn't fixed this.
