- Active Directory 2003 and Anonymous LDAP Access
- Posted by Tech Iah on November 18th, 2003
Hi,
i have read that on AD 2003, anonymous LDAP access is disabled.
However i read from Knowledge base article 326690 that if i set a attribute
"dsHeuristics" to 0000002, i would be able to enable anonymous ldap access.
However after doing that, i point my ldap browser to e.g
cn=users,dc=acme,dc=com.
i am still not able to browse the directory, and get an error "object not
found"
is there any way i can browse anonymously using LDAP?
thanks

I replied on the other thread. You need to set permissions.
