ADAM howto set LDAPIPDenyList
Posted by francois reichenbach on December 30th, 2003

Hello,

The help file (adam.chm) describes the using of Dsmgmt tool to set the
LDAPAdminLimits.
In the same sentence, there is a comment stating that Dsmgmt cannot be used
to for the LDAPDenyList attribute.
Q1: Which method is required to enter this list and in what is the expected
format ?

Q2: I have seen no "Allow" list, is this confirmed?

Best Regards

Hello,
Is there nobody out there with a hint on this (not so sexy) subject?
Thanks for any help.
Best regards.

Q1. You should use ADSIEdit or ldp to set LDAPDenyList.
Q2. There's no "allow" list. Everything is allowed except whatever is
denied.
